ERGOTERAPI IO STERBOTTEN - Vaasan Keskussairaala

A total of 24 patients with chronic stroke (mean age; 59.7 years, mean time since Methods: A sample of 83 normal volunteers performed the Sollerman hand function test (SHFT) with a flexible biaxial electrogoniometer applied to their wrists. This technique is accurate and reliable and has been used before for assessment of wrist circumduction in normal volunteers. Injury severity was rated according to the Hand Injury Severity Scoring System (HISS system) and the Injury Severity Score (ISS). Outcome was evaluated with the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand outcome questionnaire (DASH) and, in 26 of the most severely injured patients, with the Sollerman test. Three subtasks are bilateral tasks and the remaining unilateral.

Sollerman hand test

2 Because it is based on not only the time needed to finish tasks but also the quality of movement (the grip patterns that are used in the task), the SHT may be a suitable tool in evaluating patients with burned hands. This study describes the development and application of the timed Sollerman hand function test in normal volunteers and the effect of age, gender, dominance and handedness on hand function. A total of 100 volunteers (50 men and 50 women) aged between 20 to 70 years were asked to complete the Sollerman hand function test. CONCLUSIONS: The Sollerman hand function test seems to be a reliable test in patients with chronic stroke, but we recommend that the same examiner evaluates a patient's hand function pre- and post-treatment.

To examine whether the Sollerman hand function test is reliable in a test-retest situation in patients with chronic stroke. Method. Three independent examiners observed each patient at three experimental sessions; two days in week I (short-term test-retest) and one day in week 4 (long-term test-retest).

För att veta när behandlingen ska avslutas kan ett test göras genom att ta bort kompressionshäftan under 1-2 dagar och se om ärret åter blir upphöjt och rodnat.

(2010). "Excellent reliability of the Sollerman hand function test for patients with burned hands." Sollerman Hand function test was developed on the notion that the prehensile movements of the human hand can be expressed as variations of basic hand grips. The eight main hand grips in activities of daily living (ADL) into which a normal grip pattern can be divided. Sollerman Hand function test includes 20 subtests, each involving an ADL task.
